CONDITION
Each of our pieces is truly one of a kind, sourced for its beauty, craftsmanship, and history. As authentic vintage garments they carry the natural character that comes with time. 

Very minor signs of wear are normal, typically going unnoticed when worn. Any noticeable or significant imperfections will always be clearly outlined in the product description. Pricing reflects both condition and rarity.

We describe condition as follows:

Near Perfect
The piece presents almost as new, with minimal wear and little to no visible imperfections.

Good
Some light signs of wear may be present. These are generally subtle and often imperceptible once on the body, though small pulls, faint or very small marks may be visible upon close inspection.

Fair
The piece shows evidence of being worn and loved over time. Any notable flaws will be clearly detailed in the individual product description.

MEASUREMENTS

All measurements are taken with the garment lying flat, then should be doubled to calculate the full circumference (for example, bust, waist or hip).

We measure each piece as it is intended to be worn. If a garment has stretch, give, or elastic, it is gently extended to reflect how it would naturally sit on the body, rather than measured at its tightest point.

Because these are vintage pieces, the size on a label may vary slightly from modern sizing. If you’re between sizes or unsure, please feel free to reach out to us at hello@ritabridal.com.au for guidance.

SHIPPING
Orders are typically dispatched from Rita Bridal within 1–2 business days of purchase (excluding weekends and public holidays). During periods of high demand, dispatch may take slightly longer.

Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location, selected shipping method, and the items purchased.

Estimated delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping option selected at checkout. Once dispatched, Australian orders are generally delivered within the following timeframes:

  • Victoria: 1–2 business days

  • NSW / South Australia / Tasmania / ACT: 2–3 business days

  • Queensland: 4–5 business days

  • WA / NT: 5–9 business days

  • Australian Express Shipping: 1–2 business days

International standard shipping is estimated at 7–21 business days, depending on destination and local customs processing.

All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking details (domestic orders only) so you can follow your parcel through delivery right to your door. Redirect and PO Box delivery options are available for orders sent via Australia Post services.

Please note that delays caused by postal services or customs clearance are outside of our control.


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Due to the unique nature of our collection, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds for change of mind. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind vintage garment, carefully sourced and described, and often irreplaceable.

We strongly encourage you to review all photographs, descriptions, and listed measurements carefully before purchasing. If you have any questions about fit, condition, or styling, we’re always happy to help prior to checkout - please do not hesitate to send us an email at hello@ritabridal.com.au.

In some cases, we may be able to offer an exchange, provided the item is returned in its original condition, unworn and unaltered, and returned within an agreed timeframe. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer. 

This policy allows us to continue curating rare and special vintage pieces with care and transparency, and we thank you for your understanding.


REFUNDS

If in the event your order is refunded, depending on your bank or card issuer the refund may take up to 10 working days to reach your account. Reimbursement of funds will be allocated back to the original form of payment used for purchase.

If you still haven’t received the money into your account 10 business days after receiving a refund confirmation email from us, please contact us and we will look into it for you.
